Susanna's birthday -- the cake
Here is Susi and her cake -- along with the notorious blue lake (see Mama's smile in the next post). Also, our "rainbow birthday jello" that I make for each birthday. Notice how Susi is cleaning the frosting off her horse....

the cake looks god enough to eat! So does the jello! Wish we were ther, too!
I make the jello twice a year, for each kid's birthday...too busy for mine and Tony's since that's the middle of farming/market season. The kids love it and the family looks forward to it, too! And it isn't hard, it just takes a few minutes every 30 minutes or so....it's special and it makes them feel special, too.

What a great idea to do the rainbow jello! My family loves it, too, but I just don't make it that often. Maybe I will now. The cake is beautiful, Lin!
