Another funny

Yep, too big of a hurry this morning...I forgot another good one my kids came up with!

One of the fun things about traveling around for Greenstar is seeing so many other markets and stores...and buying stuff like that REALLY good caramel dutch apple pie that I cannot even begin to describe (but I am going to slice that last piece in two after this blog and dig in...I'd eat the whole thing...the slice isn't THAT huge...but I'm sharing with my husband...see what a good wife I am? Hopefully, HE hasn't wiped it out while I was bathing the kids, getting them to bed, and posting a blog....) and some birthday presents for upcoming Carter birthdays and....

One of the funniest signs I ever saw. I walked in a small market, saw it hanging on the wall over the cash register, and commented that I need that for OUR house. Then I saw they had a small pile of them for sale, yippee! I really was going to get it for our maze. Tony has funny signs posted throughout the maze, and this would fit in. But then, at breakfast after I got home, Luke asked what the sign said.

"Anyone whining will be charged $5!" "No!!! I do NOT like that sign, Mama. Throw it in the garbage. Now. Pleeeeeese?" I think I'm going to hang it on the wall instead.

After I eat that caramel dutch apple pie.

Yum.

Maybe Luke will have to ask for a raise to help pay for the whining!
I like it. I had a sign on my office door for years with about a 1/2 blank square that stated above it: write your complaint in the space below.
Hope your pumpkin party went well today, and your newest little scare crow did well. Pictures???

That's 1/2 inch blank space. (forgot the inch...senior moment)

sorry, the pie is gone... and I don't know where they purchased the signs...I'd love to carry them at our market, too!

Oh, I meant the sign. I can do without the pie, although I'm sure it was delicious. We NEED the sign! :) I told the boys this morning that the Israelites also complained about their food, that they didn't have meat, and God told Moses to tell them that he'd give them so much meat that it would come out of their nostrils! (See Numbers 11). Not to scare them or anything, but I told them they'd better be a little more cautious about complaining because I'm sure it wasn't pleasant to have meat coming out of their noses. The boys' reactions: blank stares. I don't know if they didn't hear me, didn't believe me, or were just struck dumb, but the silence was welcoming! :)

hmmm...just keep an eye out for plugged nostrils and missing meat (Mar, don't plant ideas in their heads, even if it IS in the Bible!)
