Saturday, December 6

Tomorrow is our big Christmas Showcase. I'm excited. We've had alot of positive feedback from the community so far, and it sounds like it's going to be big. However. Please keep me in your prayers. I had another really bad shaking episode Tuesday evening and finally fell asleep (still shaking and twitching) after about three hours. No idea what triggers them and was hoping that all my health issues this summer were linked to the whole gall bladder thing. Ever since Tuesday, I've just been really tired. (Yes, Chuck, I've been taking it VERY easy!)

I do have help tomorrow; my nephew will be unloading everything for me, and I have someone helping me with sales in the morning and someone else in the afternoon, but it is still going to be a long day for me (be there at 7 a.m. for set up; we have to be out by 7 p.m., even though we've advertised only until 5 p.m., and since my name is on the contract, I'll probably have to stick it out unless one of the other local women that will be there will lock up for me...that is a very good possibility). I'm hoping my nephew will come back to load everything up for me again...or my wonderful hubby!

Yes, I'm concerned, and yes, I've been praying quite a bit about it -- that God will give me the strength to get through the day and also for church and Christmas program practice Sunday morning.

Monday afternoon I go back to the dentist. One of the fillings isn't quite right, and I'm wondering if this tiredness is maybe caused by the discomfort I'm feeling from that. We'll see. I do have my walkman ready to take with me!

For the past several months, I've been praying that God would completely restore my health. That my kids and hubby would stay healthy, especially during my low-health times when I just don't feel adequate to take care of someone else not in full health. But guess what God's been showing me in my personal bible study time? God doesn't call Christians to a life of comfort; He calls us to eternal life, one where we should expect trials and tribulations along the way. And I know, too, what I'm going through is nothing compared to what so many others are going thru. Sigh. It's just tough sometimes going through it!

Thanks, my blogger friends, for your prayers, for "listening" to be blab, and just for being there!

Praying for you, Lin. You come from strong stock and you know how to step up and do difficult work. I know it's not fun, but I also know you'll do well. Love you!
